Petr Ivanovich TIMOSHENKO (1943 DOB)
Born in Gomel region. Graduated from the road—building technical school in 1964. He worked in Polotsk road-building area on various positions. For 34 years he headed a road-building area, then the road-building office No. 2 of Polotsk. The first chairman of the veteran organization of the road-building office No. 2. The Red Bridge and the bridge over the Western Dvina in the Aerodrom District were built in Polotsk under his management. From 1972 to 2007 — deputy of Polotsk City Council. Honorary Road Builder of the BSSR, Honorary Road Builder of the Republic of Belarus, 1st degree. Lives in Polotsk.
He was awarded the bronze medal of the All-Union Exhibition of Economic Achievements (VDNKh), the badge For Merits to Polotsk.
The title of Honorary Citizen of Polotsk was conferred in 2011.
