Since 1960, he lived in Polotsk. After graduation he worked at the city industrial complex in Polotsk. In 1975, he graduated from the Belarusian Polytechnic Institute, worked as a mechanic at the plastic products factory, as a workman, foreman, head of PMK-12 (mobile mechanized column) of Polotskselstroy trust, first — deputy head, then — chief engineer of Oblselstroy trust No. 2. From 1989 to 2004 — head of the Construction Republican Unitary Enterprise “Construction and Assembly Trust No. 22”. He was elected a deputy of Polotsk City Council at the 21st — 23rd convocations. Holy Protection Church and the residential building of the Saviour Euphrosyne Monastery were built under his management. A monument to Euphrosyne of Polotsk was also erected under his management.
He was awarded the Medal For Labour Merit, diplomas of Vitebsk Oblast Executive Committee, the Ministry of Architecture and Construction of the Republic of Belarus, diplomas of the Patriarchal Exarchate of the Belarusian Orthodox Church.
The title of Honorary Citizen of Polotsk was conferred in 2008.
