Kiselevka

The exhibition of the Ethnographic hall displays the interior of a peasant's house at the end of the 19th - the beginning of the 20th centuries. Most of the items in the house were hand-made then. Utensils were made of clay, wood or twigs. The Ethnographic Hall is very popular among both children and adults. Visitors can see the pots, bowls, and boxes. The object depicted below is Kiselevka. It was used for stirring kissel in the oven. Kissel is a traditional Belarusian beverage. It was made from oats. This particular Kiselevka was made in 1940s. Its length is 140 cm.
