Born in Velikie Luki. After demobilization in 1960, he got the job of a slinger at Polotsk Fiberglass Plant. In 1961-1966 he studied at the Belarusian Polytechnic Institute, after that he worked as a head of the department for the production of glassplastic based on fiberglass and liquid resins. In 1983-1998 he headed Polotsk Fiberglass Production Association. Since 2002, retired. Honorary chemist of the USSR, a veteran of Polotsk Fiberglass Production Association. Lives in Polotsk.
He was awarded the Order of the Red Banner of Labour, the badge For Merits to Polotsk.
The title of Honorary Citizen of Polotsk was conferred in 2016.
