Pogorelaia Kseniia Maksimovna (1959 DOB)
Born in Krasnodar. Graduated from the P.I. Tchaikovsky State Conservatory in Moscow, piano and organ class. In 1983 — 1987 worked in the Far Eastern Pedagogical Institute of Arts. Since 1988 — organist of the concert hall of St. Sophia Cathedral. Since 1991 she has been working at Polotsk Children's Art School, from 2004 to 2011 she taught at Vitebsk branch of the Belarusian State Academy of Music. She has stock recordings on Belarusian radio and television, three CDs. She received the title of Woman of the Year in Polotsk in 1995, Woman of the Year in Vitebsk Oblast in 2003. Winner of the Mighty God International Festival-Competition of Sacred Music, Owner of the Hero of the Soviet Union Z. Tusnolobova-Marchenko Prize. Lives in Polotsk.
Awarded the Francisk Skaryna Medal.
The title of Honorary Citizen of Polotsk was conferred in 2009.
