Ignatiy Fillipovich KOZLOV (1891-1980)
Born in Vitebsk region. Served in the tsarist army in 1914 — 1918, volunteered for the Red Army in 1919. Since 1926 — the chairman of the Board of Consumer Cooperatives, director of flax plants in Vitebsk region for six years. Participated in the liberation of Western Belarus. Since 1941 at the front. In 1945 — 1957 headed the trade department of Polotsk Oblast Consumer Union, held various economic positions. Personal Pensioner of All-Union's Significance since 1955.
He was awarded the Order of the Red Banner, the Red Star, medals.
The title of Honorary Citizen of Polotsk was conferred in 1970.
