The coin "In memory of the 300th anniversary of the reign of the House of Romanov"

In 1913 the tsar's decree was established to an outstanding event in Russian history - the celebration of the 300th anniversary of the ruling Romanov dynasty: a badge, a medal and a cross “In memory of the 300th anniversary of the reign of the House of Romanov”, the Faberge jewelry company’s egg and anniversary silver ruble. The commemorative coin today can be seen in the exposition of the Museum of Local Lore.

The entire circulation of 1913 - 1.5 million copies of the jubilee rubles minted by the St. Petersburg Mint. The stamp was made by the famous sculptor-medalist Anton Vasyutinsky. The bulk of them were jubilee rubles with "convex" more embossed portraits on the obverse.

On the obverse of the coin there is an image of two rulers: on the left Emperor Nicholas II in military uniform, on the right the first king from the Romanov dynasty Mikhail Fedorovich in royal attire and Monomakh's cap. The portraits are made in a circular frame around the “line with a dot” pattern.

The reverse shows a two-headed royal eagle with a scepter and a orb. Above the eagle there is an inscription with the denomination of “RUBLE”, below the date: “1613-1913”. A “dotted line” pattern is also made along the perimeter.

Smooth edge with the extruded inscription "PURE SILVER 4 GOLDEN 21 SHARES". Coin weight - 20 g., diameter - 33, 65 mm.
