Polotsk in the days of the totalitarian regime of Stalin. Mikhail Tikhonovich Konstantinov

He was born in 1904 in Polotsk. At the age of 15 he started working on the railway, at first as a timekeeper, at the end of the course he worked as a foreman, a repairman for the railway. On March 16, 1938, he was arrested on charges of spying for Poland and imprisoned. He died on January 13, 1941 at the place of serving his sentence. He was rehabilitated posthumously on March 12, 1957.

The collection of documents and photos by Mikhail Tikhonovich Konstantinov was transferred to the museum in 1997 by her daughter Olga Mikhailovna Konstantinova.
