Form for measuring butter

Hand-beaten butter was placed in a special molding, the dish for measuring butter, and then put in a cold place. The museum exhibit is a form of two rectangular boxes without a bottom connected by a wooden plate with a cylindrical stick. Such a device for measuring butter of the desired size and weight worked on the principle of a piston. It was made over half a century ago by Nikolai Lavrinovich, a resident of the village of Zaleski Glubokoe district Vitebsk region.
